The Arkansas Supreme Court ordered a lower court judge to grant Attorney General Tim Griffin’s motion to voluntarily dismiss his public records lawsuit against the state corrections board last week.

Griffin’s office had filed an emergency petition with the high court in May, after a Pulaski County judge did not immediately grant his motion to approve the settlement and end his suit against the Arkansas Board of Corrections.
