An incumbent Boise state representative who lives in a competitive legislative district has raised the most money of any candidate for the Idaho Legislature in 2026, online state campaign finance records show.

Rep. Steve Berch, D-Boise, has raised $212,580.79 as of Tuesday afternoon.

Although Republicans control a supermajority in the Idaho Legislature, Berch is the only candidate in Idaho’s 105 legislative districts who has raised more than $200,000 this year. …
