The state of Indiana took in $733 million less from the federal government last year compared to the previous year, according to an analysis by award indexer Granted.

The grand total in the previous federal fiscal year — which ran from Oct. 1, 2024 through Sep. 30, 2025 — was $22.6 billion, down 3%.
