Tropical Storm Isaias was upgraded to a hurricane late Wednesday night with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph, the National Hurricane Center reported.

As of 10:30 p.m. Wednesday the storm was moving east-northeast at 9 mph and was about 460 miles south-southwest from the mouth of Mississippi River
