Gov. Greg Gianforte is soliciting applications for a temporary appointment to the Public Service Commission.

In a news release Tuesday, Gianforte said qualified candidates must live in District 2, south-central Montana, and will serve until July 9, 2027.

The governor is soliciting applications for that district after temporarily suspending Brad Molnar from the Public Service Commission for a year.
