Hoosiers seeking professional licenses are waiting half as long on average for state approval as they did at the start of 2025, Gov. Mike Braun’s office said Monday.

The average processing time across all license types fell from about 11.8 days in January 2025 to 5.9 days in July 2026, according to figures released by the administration. The state did not include the number of applications covered by the comparison in its announcement, however.
