LINCOLN — The vast majority of the 2,407 petition signatures rejected for former state Sen. Brett Lindstrom’s nonpartisan bid for Nebraska governor came in Lancaster County, where just 24.6% of signatures were valid.

Lindstrom submitted 2,210 signatures total for review in Lancaster County. Just 543 were valid.
