Trinity Health will permanently lay off 557 employees, largely in its technology and information services division, the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity announced recently.

Layoffs at the national organization, which is headquartered in Livonia, are scheduled to begin Oct. 25 and continue through Nov. 29, according to a notice published by the department.
